Naipunnya is a project of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. His Eminence Major Archbishop His Beatitude Mar George Alencherry is the Patron, and His Excellency Mar Thomas Chakiath and His Excellency Mar Sebastian Adayanthrath are co-patrons. Rev. Fr. Jose Puthenveettil is the Director of the Naipunnya group of educational institutions. Rev. Fr. Paul Madan is the Executive Director of Naipunnya Pongam. Assistant Executive Directos are Rev. Fr. Biju Kandathil and Rev. Fr. Shajan Puthenpura
The Established in 1998, there are three major educational institutions under Naipunnya group: Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology (NIMIT), Pongam, Thrichur Dist. (Affiliated to the University of Calicut), Naipunnya School of Management(NSM), Cherthala, Alleppey Dist. (Affiliated to the University of Kerala) and Naipunnya Public School (NPS) Edakkunnu, in Ernakulam Dist., affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.).
Naipunnya Group is functioning under the Naipunnya Charitable Society which is a registered charitable society under Travancore Cochin Charitable Society Registration Act. The president of the society is His Beatitude Mar George Alencherry, The Archbishop of Ernakulam -Angamaly Archdiocese and the present secretary is Rev. Fr. Jose Puthenveettil. In its relentless quest for quality and excellence Naipunnya has branched out in to a number of diversified training programmes.
The institute is proud to have a team of highly qualified and motivated faculty. Innovative teaching methods are followed to equip the students with the necessary skills. Naipunnya has a commitment to groom integrated and competent persons useful for the society. Sufficient infrastructural support is provided to realise this goal.
