CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The Institute encourages active and competitive participation in sporting and co curricular events. Sporting competitions include carom, chess, table tennis, football, cricket. Other competitions include debates, elocution, quiz, What’s the Good Word etc.

Naipunnya Institute promotes co-curricular competitive keenness among its students by holding several intra-collegiate competitions. The college encourage its students to match their skills with the best by pitting them against students from other management colleges in intercollegiate competitions, and if the results are any indication we are right up there among the very best – year after year. Each year Naipunnya Institute plays host to the mother of all inter collegiate hospitality competitions- an event looked upon by the academic and professional fraternity with great interest and enthusiasm underlining the commitment of the college in developing hospitality careers.

Social Service Programme

Naipunnya actively promotes and participate in programmes for maintaining local cleanliness, environmental conservation, spreading health awareness in conditions like Polio, AIDS, Eye-care, rehabilitation and relief work.

Executive Grooming Programme (EGP)

EGP includes the Electives and Soft skill Development (SSD) programmes. Various methods like quiz competitions, extempore, group discussion, mock interviews, debates, seminars, presentations, management games, memory enhancing techniques, usage of language lab, Industrial visit, study tours etc are included in EGP. The Programme known as Executive Grooming Programme (EGP) is intended to explore the hidden talents and improve the self-confidence of the students, following a parallel syllabus taking into account the latest trends in the society and industry.

Industrial Training

Students are placed at elite industries with excellent records for training and placement. Many of the students earn while they learn. Our clientele includes the top brass in the industry.

Spiritual Formation

At the Institute, prayer hall and meditation facility is available round the clock. Students can opt for Yoga, Meditation etc.

Women’s Cell

Naipunnya makes sure that all its women members are empowered through the women’s cell which regularly discusses relevant feminist issues and topics on society at large.

Recreation

All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy. The institute has excellent indoor and outdoor recreational facilities. Chess, caroms, scrabble, shuttle, ring, Chinese checker etc. give ample time for students to unwind themselves. A large ground serves as an excellent arena for football, cricket, hockey, volley ball, basketball etc.

Anti Ragging Cell

The campus also has appointed an anti ragging cell guided by the instructions of the University of Calicut under the purview of Prevention of Ragging in the Educational Institutions in accordance with Supreme Court directions. This cell ensures safety to students with regard to ragging in the campus. If any incident of ragging comes to the authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel the student from the Institution.

Parents Teachers Well-wishers Association (PTWA)

PTWA includes members from parents and guardians as well as teachers who work together for the upliftment of students. Parents and teachers co-ordinate well to establish growth and development of students academically.

Open Day

Once a year, after the first term sessional examination, the college holds an open day that is mandatory for parents to attend in order to discuss their ward’s attitude, attendance and academic performance to-date so as to correct any undesirable trends or deviations that may prove futile/fruitless for them later on.

Cultural Forum

Students are offered hand-on experience on the various art forms with emphasis on the timely exhibition of their talents to nurture their hidden potentialities.
