Class rooms
The institute has airy, well-ventilated class rooms with spacious and comfortable seating facilities. All modern audio-visual teaching aids like O.H.P., LCD Projector, TV etc are employed while taking classes so as to make the classes more productive, informative and interesting.
Training Restaurant and Mock Bar
The Training Restaurant in the Institute is an exact replica of a hotel restaurant. With all the furniture and fixtures, the restaurant gives a simulated effect upon the training. All aspects of food and beverage service are imparted to the students to match with international standards of service. The students enact role plays where they take turns in becoming both the guest and the waiter and this gives them the practical advantage.
Food & Beverage Production Lab
The food production labs (Basic, Quantity and Advanced) are well set with all state-of-the-art equipment required for a real hotel kitchen. Each student is provided with an individual worktable, cooking range, tool kit and other accessories. With daily demos and individual cooking, the students build up their confidence to become expert chefs. With international standards of hygiene and food handling techniques the food production lab stands out to be one of the best of its kind.
Front Office
The front office practical procedures are imparted to the students by giving them hands-on training by standing behind a real reception counter made for the same. The students are well trained in all aspects of reception, billing, cashiering, handling guest complaints, book keeping and computerized hotel management system packages. Well –scripted role plays help the students to feel the real situations in the hotel and makes them confident and smart.
Library
The Institute has a spacious reading room and a collection of the best books pertaining to the fields of food and beverage service, cooking, operation management, engineering, facility planning, event planning, law, commerce, encyclopaedias, accounts, designing and scores of other general books on personality development, communication, general knowledge, fictions, novels, autobiographies and psychology.
Language lab
To facilitate the students in developing their communication skills, Naipunnya has the latest language lab. The intricacies of the language, be it English or any other major European language are dealt in the respective language classes in the language lab.
Laundry and Linen
The students are taught all aspects of laundry operations and in addition they are accustomed to the real feel of a hotel linen room by maintaining a set of all hotel linen. This gives them an added advantage in housekeeping operations.
Guest Room
The Institute has a mock guest room, which is a version of the guest rooms available in hotels. The guest room is well furnished as per the requirements of a normal hotel room and here professional training is imparted on the skills of quality guest room cleaning, bed making and interior decoration.
Auditorium
The institute also houses an auditorium to seat up to a capacity of 500 people in theatre style. Monthly get-togethers, special functions and other cultural activities are held here and this relieves monotony.
Hostels
The college has separate hostels for both boys and girls within the campus managed by priests and sisters.
Maintenance and Engineering workshop
The Institute also imparts training to the students for repair and maintenance of common equipment used in hotels like electrical circuit, basic carpentry works, exhaust fans, common light fixtures etc. Thus they get accustomed to the care and maintenance of equipment required in hotels.
